Rembrandt's Etchings at Erasmus Huis

The exhibition in the Erasmus Huis shows etchings of the Rembrandt House in Amsterdam and from private collections. The exhibition offers an overview of Rembrandt’s world-famous etchings with subjects ranging the Bible, landscapes and portraits and many more.

Indeed, Rembrandt Van Rijn is one of the greatest etchers. He is more acknowledged for his mastery in etching than painting. What I like most from his graphic works is the technique he used to make a dramatic light effect. The rendering is remarkable!

This exhibition definitely shouldn't be missed!

A Letter to Sha...

Dear Asha Freda Elvind,

I remember the day you were born
29 July 2005
It wasn't love at first sight like many tales told
But my love grows as you do

I remember the days during your first two months
You cried all days and nights
And I just knew nothing to do and felt useless
But there's nothing quite as magical as a mother's love
Your first lesson for me.

Now your little legs learn to walk carefully
You start to babbling your name...cacaca...
You laugh and giggle
You're quite a performer

Now that I spend my days talking to pictures, fishes, cats, and birds
I learn so much than I could never thought before
Figured out that my teacher is a one year-old baby girl

Thank you for the joy and the lesson
Clap your hands, dance, and laugh...
Happy Birthday,darling!

-Bunda-

CC to God:
Thank you for a healthy baby.
*I mean what can be a mommy's worst fear than dealing with their sick baby*
Thank you for an amazing gift.

MATCH POINT - a DVD review

A sensual film that reveals the huge part luck plays in events. With the setting of English upper class, the story is about the seduction of wealth and passion (the discordant between love and lust ;p).

I underlined the dialogue : "I'd rather be lucky than good" cause I absolutely agree with the idea that a great part of life is dependant on luck and lately I am afraid that mine runs out...

Out of all, I just love the english accent, London scenic views, and the life style (enjoy their fortune while also supporting arts).... *urgggghhhh saatchi gallery..tate modern...I miss you...*

If you love drama, you'll love it! At least, you'll love the ending. Just unpredictable!
